Blended families are hard. Getting support doesn’t have to be.

Blending families asks a lot of you—and you don’t have to carry it alone. If you’re feeling pulled between your partner, your children, and a former spouse or co-parent, counseling can give you a steady place to sort through the emotions, decisions, and next steps. Together, we can slow things down, reduce the anxiety, and help you move forward with clarity and confidence—whether you’re already in a blended family, dating, or considering that next step. You deserve support that honors your relationship and your kids’ needs.

  • Dawn brings a calm, grounded presence to her work and understands how complicated life can feel when multiple roles and responsibilities collide. As a therapist with more than 20 years of experience as a medical social worker, she has spent her career walking alongside individuals and families during some of their most stressful and uncertain moments. She especially enjoys working with individuals and couples navigating co-parenting and blended family dynamics, helping them sort through emotions, improve communication, and make thoughtful decisions that honor both their relationships and their children’s needs.

Dawn has a deep appreciation for the unique pressures faced by medical professionals and individuals living with chronic or autoimmune conditions. Balancing health concerns, demanding careers, parenting, and relationships can feel overwhelming, and she offers a compassionate space to slow down, reflect, and regain a sense of steadiness. Drawing from both professional experience and real-life understanding of blended family life, her approach is practical, empathetic, and collaborative—focused on helping clients feel supported, understood, and better equipped to move forward with confidence and care.
